Critical function required for the first PSI deployment which includes the SDP.
Visibility receive is the first SDP workflow that will be required at the PSI to test interfaces and operation of the signal chain between CBF and SDP.
Successful testing of this workflow at the PSI is an important milestone towards its use for early Array Assemblies (ie AA0.5 and AA1)

      1. Define and expose configuration of this workflow via the TMC (and OET?) as a PB configuration with suitable schema for validation of the the configuration.
      2. Test end-to-end operation of visibility receive, ideally using the emulator started from CBF LMC (assumes SP-1157), in an integration environment with a number of different data rates applicable to testing correct functionality and PSI operation.
      3. Provide clear instructions on how to access received MS files once they have been written.
      4. Contribute to review and update of SDP user guide describing how to run this workflow (SP-1215)

      • Stretch: Contribute to configuration and development of updated control code required for meaningful exchange of receive addresses (especially if implementing SP-1178)

    Description

Feature to complete work started in PI6 and continued in PI7 by the YANDA team developing the SDP a visibility receive workflow suitable for use at the PSI and with an evolutionary route towards what is expected to be deployed for early Array Assemblies.
