    Description

Based on the status of  SP-1603 we will be able to quickly set up a parameterized MVP with different configurations of sub-arrays with a variable number of nodes and other components. In this Enabler the expectation is to be able to set up the MVP at various scales and run automated tests to evaluate response to scaling. Some metrics around the infrastructure utilisation (especially CPU, memory) is needed to track what is trend of use of resources as we scale up.

      >>More direction about the performance evaluation. These aspects may be taken up further, beyond PI10>>

Investigate scalability of Monitor and Control architecture

Analyse why current skampi deployment requires so much compute resources already.  (related to SP-1603, SP-1267, SP-1266)

Study impact of adding larger number of dishes 200+ on key performance attributes (latency, responsiveness, stability)

(Note: Some earlier work was done by the SDP team as a Spike. See Linked issue SP-33 for the same as well as some description in

      https://confluence.skatelescope.org/display/SE/WIP%3A+Tango+scalability+tests

This included creating a fork of the repository for Tango performance benchmarking that was later merged into the original.)

However in this feature we should primarily concentrate on MVP scaling to include a large number of Dishes
