      We did decide on a procedure for to register the SPFRx device in the Dish.LMC TangoDB.

      Unfortunately we were not able to configure the server to point it to the Tango DB provided by Dish.LMC in time to complete this feature.

    Description

      Support integration of Dish LMC (DishManager, DishLogger, SPF software simulator, existing Dish Structure software simulator) that is deployed in a k8s cluster in the ITF with the SPFRx Controller (not simulator) that is installed in the ITF:

      • Plan integration with ATLAS and CIPA.
      • Release Dish LMC for integration.
      • Deploy Dish LMC to k8s in ITF.
      • Run Dish LMC confidence tests using SPF, SPFRx and DS simulators in ITF.
      • Ensure logs to to ELK log system of ITF.
      • Deploy Dish LMC without SPFRx software simulator.
      • Update TANGO database (that is deployed as part of Dish LMC) to reflect the ITF SUT devices, including SPFRx specific TANGO properties.
      • In collaboration with ATLAS and CIPA perform integration testing of the SUT.
      • Support debugging, make changes to code if integration is blocked, record things that need to change in Dish LMC after integration.
      • Document registration procedure of SPFRx in the Dish.LMC TangoDB
