To date only 'AA0.5 Imaging Scenarios' have been considered when creating example Jupyter Notebooks to control observations. This feature expands the coverage to PST observations.

      • A new notebook is created to allow the ability to conduct PST scans, starting from the OSO scripting level* and reading from an example PST SBD (JSON format in the ODA or `ska-jupyter-scripting` repo)
      • New notebook is made part of the `ska-jupyter-scriping` repo and follows required SKAO standards (linting etc).
      • Documentation is created for the use of an AIV engineer in interpreting the Notebook and stored in the Documentation Repository on confluence.
      • `ska-jupyter-scripting` LOW chart is kept up to date with developments to maintain the long term functionality of this example notebook. (this can be considered a long term commitment).
      • The notebook connects to the ODA and an EB can be inspected post-priori to see executed steps.

'* as few as possible 'helper functions' are used. This should fully exercise the OSO scripting library.

    Description

[Please discuss with A.Biggs about some progress made in this direction already]

The `ska-jupyter-scripting` is the repository used to demonstrate and provide examples to the Stakeholders (AIV and Commissioning Science) of how to construct observing scripts.

To date only interferometric scenarios have been covered. This feature will create the equivalent for LOW PST type observations.

The Notebook should be generic enough that a user can use it as a template to build their own observation.
