      TOP-5 is still open and will continue in PI-17: SP-3026.

      The ordered Alveo cards (20 pieces) arrived at TOPIC. Intense discussions ongoing related to the ALveo servers. CBF is involved.
      The L3 products for CBF are identified (80%), the servers needed for CSP-LOW.LMC are identified. No detailed information from PST and no information from PSS (not needed for AA0.5).

      The racks are not ordered yet as there are discussions ongoing with Pawsey, SKAO, s-ITF, CBF-PSI and Topic.

      The CBF servers are not ordered however contact with the manufacturer is established. We could order quickly with some risks.

      Goal: order CLP hardware for AA0.5

      • Achieve clarity on hardware order scope
        • similar to Alveo purchase: 3 (CLP, s-ITF, Pawsey)*6 +2 Alveos?
      • Shared visibility of L3 product BoMs
      • Rack vendor/type identified (current Low PSI rack - can't wait for Pawsey rack spec)
      • Racks ordered
      • CBF servers ordered
      • Generic k8s servers ordered
      • Order Alveo cards (delivered ~early Dec)
