      As a Control System Developer / System Scientist I want to carry out a simulated end-to-end test of a global pointing model update from observing the sources to updating the pointing model of the dishes to validate the functionality of the control system for this observing mode.

      As a Control System Developer / System Scientist I want to carry out a simulated end-to-end test of a global pointing model update from observing the sources to updating the pointing model of the dishes to validate the functionality of the control system for this observing mode.

      1. To enable the integration testing, the SDP is capable of publishing predefined pointing offset outputs (on Tango attributes and as data products) for each source using a mock processing script.
      2. The SDP has been exercised as part of the integration tests.
      3. The SDP sub-system has been tested stand-alone with a mock global pointing calibration observation to investigate its robustness:
        1. Execute 250 scans (50 x 5-point, using the same input MS data) to find out how long it takes to run and whether the output data products are correctly stored.
        2. Outcomes and lesson learned are documented in Confluence.

      This feature assumes that generating simulated visibility data for the number of sources involved in a global pointing model update is not feasible, so it is the output data products from the SDP that must be simulated.
