TMC Mid capable of controlling and monitoring Holography observations

Holographic observations allow the inspection of the quality and integrity of the dish surface, defects of which can be detrimental to observed data quality. Holographic observations are therefor required to ensure the long term health of the SKA MID dishes and data quality.

The Holography proposal will be a collaborative effort led by the architects with participation from other teams. The proposal will be reviewed and finalized in PI23.

The feature originally intended to implement holography in TMC, and was later descoped to work out the holography handling through a collaborative effort involving architects and other teams. TMC teams attended a series of discussions and update meetings to understand the proposal and assess the impact on TMC, The proposal was reviewed in PI23. The actual implementation will be done in SP-4471 in PI-24
