      As we begin to think about what API we will need to expose SRCNet compute services for local and remote execution and sync and async processing, it will be valuable to look at the APIs for existing tools that perform the same at scale.

      A document that contains the API signatures that are common to the tools described in the WMS study doc. The definitions or how the endpoints are invoked may differ slightly, and where they do, this should be specified. 

      The API signatures should include (but not limited to) input params (query param, path params, payload), possible responses, and how auth information is passed.

    Description

      Following on from the work done in Coral team to consolidate information regarding existing WMS tools that support federated execution and perform the same at scale, this feature will take a closer look at the APIs they have implemented.

      In some cases this may be easy to find (upon initial perusal this for example https://panda-wms.readthedocs.io/en/latest/client/rest.html but this and other APIs may require 'translation' into a format that is relevant to the SRCNet space.
