Provides the monitoring & control interface for the PST statistics monitor, responsible for calculating real-time QA metrics of the tied-array beam data. The scalar QA metrics will be exposed as TANGO attributes which enables CSP-LMC and operators to monitor the quality of the tied-array beam data during system integration tests and AA0.5 operations, and to detect early a bad signal or signal degradation during those activities.

    Description

A new PST application that periodically computes QA statistics will be configured, controlled, and monitored using a new PST Tango device that implements the CSP Subelement Obs Device and associated State Model. This model is currently implemented by existing PST components: RECV, SMRB, and DSP.

A subset of the computed QA statistics will be exposed as TANGO attributes that can be queried and displayed in a Taranta dashboard.
