While eventually calibration will have to be integrated into the signal chain; at the AAVS milestone applying the minimal calibration offline to the saved DAQ to file should be adequate

      1. Work done in PI18 under SP-3030 is updated with further feedback received, if any from stakeholders. 2. Skeleton implementation of the offline calibration, could reuse and put together existing scripts, however should be collated as a clear and straightforward procedure to apply to offline DAQ files.

A FieldStation device was added as the high-level interface to the PaSD elements (necessary for fetching temperatures, which is the trigger of calibration changes). A StationCalibrator device was add as the manager for calibration of the station. With further updates to the deployment (adding a postgreSQL server, &c) these devices were then used to establish a skeleton implementation of the calibration control system. This was demonstrated in 2023-07-20 OMC ART System Demo 19.3

    Description

      Update for PI19

Offline Calibration approach was proposed in SP-3030 in PI18 which involved a workshop including among others Software, System Science, and Domain Specialists. This feature is to update for further feedback, if any  from other stakeholders. After that an expansion to at least a skeleton implementation. This could be simply grandfathering existing scripts (Ravi's e.g.) but should be possible to apply fairly simply on the DAQ files offline.
