So much has changed on the LOW , As a result of changes to interfaces, that the baseline document is completely incorrect. A number of contracts both within and outside of networks reference the design so we need to amend this design completely and document it accurately. The work will also need to incorporate the specific designs for AA0.5,1,2,3*4 as only AA4 is specified in the current Baseline design  document , the remainder are not recorded anywhere. This will also make it easier to update Netterrain for LOW.

A representative design will exist for all stages of the network evolution and can then be planned into the schedule and budget.

The document will be used as a baseline document for the LOW Design and will collect the information for Netterrain updates and be a contractual reference until Netterrain is updated.

      Expected outcomes:

      • A working design that is clearly expressed and recorded for anyone to be able to refer to.
      • Replace the current , very out of date and incorrect Baseline design.
      • Incorporate some major fundamental changes to the network as imposed by ECPs.
      • A clear design to  enable the planning of schedule  and budgets events

    Description

Due to ECP 2000049 and a number of ECPs for other products interfacing with the network, the design for the LOW long haul has changed and needs to be recorded in a document as the baseline design. Also we need the document to incorporate the design at AA0.5, AA1, AA2, AA3* AA4. The work for this document will be the pre-cursor for netterain to be updated as the single source of truth. We should also include the connectivity to the SPS cabinets and clearly show how the design progresses through the releases.
Produce Kit list for the BOM for the LOW networks contract for AA1-AA4.
