      A third version of the DISH.LMC to Dish Structure Interface Control Document is needed to begin work on implementation of the Dish LMCto prepare Dish LMC for AA 0.5.   This will enable will updating the Dish LMC to DS ICD with the latest information (new DS).

      Actively participated in the relevant DISH Structure meetings, in particular with the team developing DS interface with DISH LMC.

      Actions for the observations already raised on the Dish Structure ICD are agreed and documented in the OAR. 

      Issues identified in Dish LMC - Dish Structure Interaction have been discussed and a plan is documented for their resolution.

      On 27 October we had the "DS SW ICD (LMC) & Simulator" meeting

      • Attendees: Nico Kriek, Paul Swart, Samuel Twum, Abednigo Lethole, Alice Pellegrini, Keith Browne, Sonja Vrcic, Johan Venter, 杜彪, 王 大为, Henk Niehaus, Yang Jinrong, Ockert Strydom, Phelokazi Dube and Robert Laing.
      • We went through many observations in the OAR and updated their statusses and agreed on actions. Other observations that are not addressed yet were pointed out and ones that are addressed already were marked complete.
      • We discussed the Dish Structure Simulator. CETC54 indicated that it will be provided in January 2022. https://confluence.skatelescope.org/display/SE/Dish+Structure+Simulator+Requirements was discussed and afterwards structured for CETC54 to indicate the extent to which the simulator will fullfill the requirements.

    Description

      This feature is cloned from SP-1810 for continuation of work that started under it.

      In March 2022 CET54 shared a second draft ICD for the interface between Dish LMC and Dish Structure for review. The ICD and comments are in this OneDrive Dish structure and LMC IDC working folder.

      It is expected that in PI15 discussions with the Dish Consortium (Dish Structure supplier) will be required to discuss the comments on the ICD and to review another revision of the ICD. This feature is for an agile team to cooperate with the DISH Consortium during the development to help model the interface to facilitate integration in the SKA MID Telescope.
