      To automate tests that can give some confidence of whether the 4 components of taranta work fine together. This will save time and improve reliability at each deployment.

      • there are e2e tests that simulate an interaction path that a real user with a real browser could follow
      • these tests can be written with selenium/cypress and even recorded automatically with Selenium IDE (if selenium is used)
      • they need to be implemented in python so that they can be run either interactively (headfull browser) or in a pipeline (headless browser).

      We have a set of e2e tests that can be used in regression testing in the CICD pipeline. 

      These tests are the initial examples of how this can be done with Taranta, and I expect that more tests like these will be added over the future PIs.

    Description

      Implement smoke tests on the following 4 Taranta components:

      1. TangoGQL
      2. Front-end
      3. Dashboard database
      4. Authentication

      We also need to improve documentation of Taranta, and specifically to improve the Primer  and the user manual from the viewpoint of the Taranta user.
      In Skampi more documentation is needed to on how to deploy Taranta (as per comments arisen during today's  MVP Meeting).
