    Description

      While working on SP-1690 NCRA implemented simulators using tango-simlib. Here are resulting suggestions for changes to tango-simlib:

      • Change tango-simlib to generate a device that is derived from a base class in ska-tango-base.
      • Investigate configuring polling from a config file (e.g. different period for different attributes).
      • Enable the device server to push events manually.
