One or more simple RCAL pipelines, capable of generating complex gain solutions for a boresight tied array beam for SKA MID and LOW and pointing solutions for MID is anticipated to be required for early Array Assemblies (possibly as early as AA0.5). The simulations were generated with OSKAR for Low and RASCIL for Mid. The simulation process fro Low is described here:

The intention behind this feature is to work out what is needed to have one or more simulated test data sets suitable for driving the development of an SDP RCAL pipeline targeting AA0.5 or AA1 use cases.
