Simulation of data sets for early AA RT RFI pipeline testing

      It contains the requirements for a simple set of simulations which were agreed with the Hippo team - they will be using the simulations to test a real-time RFI pipeline. It also describes how to run the pipeline, some of the results, and how to download the data.

      We are working on generating an additional set of simulations of aeronautical RFI for Mid. This uses the interface developed in SP-1756. The pipeline is working, but does not yet include the gains from the beam far sidelobes.

    Description

      Develop a simple RFI-effected visibility simulation signal for use in testing a real-time pipeline. This could be built on the current functionality provided in PSS testing but in that case would need to be developed to apply to visibility data. The dataset will likely require some basic, narrow spikes and some broad-band RFI.
