Description
- Review and ensure an as complete as possible set of happy routes always pass for the SDP system
- Make simple test sets specifically for the anticipated PSI Low tests, mainly to demonstrate that we can change the input data sets, and to make sure we can focus on getting these use cases well-polished. Citing Daniel Hayden:
- Variation 1: Each TPM is commanded to send an identical station output (self-generated narrow-band signal) to the CBF, to test the zero-delay case. The CBF forms visibilities. A Measurement Set is captured by SDP and amplitude and phase are retrieved.
- Variation 2: Same as 1 except known amplitude differences and delays are inserted between outputs. Demonstrate that these can be recovered and that the system is linear.
- Variation 3: Same as 2 except the CBF is commanded to take out a known (constant) delay, and put in known rates.
- No random test failures and all critical (TBD: if we know what critical is!) SKB tests are resolved involving the SDP system. The team(s) who picks up this feature is also expected to take a role in identifying new bugs and bug triage.
- Review use of XRay, the test coverage exposed to this along with test grouping (test sets) and propose or ideally make improvements that can be built on in future.
