      1. Investigated and confirmed Xilinx firmware complier licensing issues and restrictions.
      2. Set up and tested Low.CBF firmware GitLab CI/CD pipeline (not fully completed but well underway)
      3. Communicated with other firmware development teams (MCCS and Mid.CBF) to see their firmware DevOps process.
      4. We plan to complete the CI/CD pipeline in the future PIs

    Description

      • Establish a gitlab environment that builds Alveo firmware code automatically
      • And also have the ability to do testing or simulation to a degree acceptable to each module or an overall FPGA
      • to investigate how special compilers can be used by gitlab (specially licensed large compilers)
