LMC tested with concurrency in CI to ensure that updates to TANGO attributes are guaranteed to happen before the command returns (to solve SKB-14). Can be done using threads connected using an etcd database, or by enhancing the memory emulation to the point where it can reproduce such problems (could be established using etcd backend test suite).

    Description

SDP's LMC has now been at the heart of a number of incidents (incident #0, SKB-7, SKB-9, SKB-13, SKB-14). This is not entirely unexpected given that the general LMC paradigm is not particularly well-suited for what SDP is doing - however it means we need to be very diligent with ensuring that we don't impact the development of other sub-systems.

SP-1485 and SP-1486 have been split from this feature.
