Make a staging environment available for SKAMPI

Enabling access to a stable environment has a number of advantages:

1. It provides stakeholders with a well-known demo enviroment where features can be tested
2. It provides an easy way for stakeholders to explore the SKAMPI product functionalities
3. It promotes a culture of stability and ownership of a shared product
4. It makes more relevant practices such as incident management and bug reporting, starting to exercise those in a context that is more similar to production

A deployment of SKAMPI is made available to the larger set of stakeholders in a staging environment.

Such environment will have these characteristics:

• It will possible to manually deploy a tested version of SKAMPI to this environment via a  Gitlab pipeline.
• Only stable and green-testing deployments will be enabled to be deployed to this environment.
• The staging environment will be accessible by a stable, well known URL.
• Access to the environment will be controlled via an authentication mechanism.
