      An engineering archive is an essential part of a Monitor and Control Solution. Providing a ready to deploy packaged version of the TMC archiver will make the archival solution consistent with the Docker / Kubernetes approach we are going with for the rest of the system.

    Description

      Archiving has been tested in an earlier spike by the NCRA team. However this was done without any packaging and deployment using containers etc. The goal of this ticket is to be able to provide the archiver functionality in a ready to deploy package using a Docker image(s) that would include the right configuration of the HDB++ archiver.  The supporting database can use Cassandra currently however the solution should be modular enough to replace later with another database such as TimescaleDB.

      The deployment for a typical installation should also be tested using Kubernetes to deploy.
