      The exact set of attributes required (i.e. what is 'a basic set' to be determined during iteration planning and story definition, at this time we assume the list of FSPs, integration time, number of channels) identified on the Confluence page:

      CSP_Mid.LMC accepts and responds to a TMC command configure scan (imaging), obsState transition as expected. 

      CSP_Mid.LMC is able to detect  errors and reject invalid command. When an error is detected by CSP.LMC, an exception is raised, and the subarray configuration remains as-is. 

      CSP_Mid.LMC forwards command configure scan to Mid.CBF as appropriate (as described in SKA1 CSP LMC to CSP Sub-elements Interface Control Document, SKA-TEL-CSP-0000019, 2018-10-25. Minor updates and more precise definition of the content of the JSON script are available on Confluence page (see above).

    Description

      Implement and verify a basic set of attributes and commands required to configure CSP_Mid sub-array for imaging.  This includes observing state and related state machine, i.e. ability to configure scan. 

      Note that the full scan configuration, in addition to the parameters specified in the JSON script also requires TMC to provide:

      • delay models 
      • destination addresses for the visibilities. 

      (The models (content) do not need to be 'real',  at this time we can only verify  the format and the comminication mechanism.
