      The decision of how the abort functionality would be implemented in the OET was recorded in AT2-490, with the decision made to make observing tasks for each of the Abort, Reset and Restart commands, which will then be executed via scripts.
      Abort, Reset and Restart observing tasks (AT2-492, AT2-491 and AT2-523, respectively) were subsequently created, and the scripts were written to drive those commands in AT2-494. AT2-493 describes the final step of getting the ScriptExecutionService to send a stop command to abort sub-array activity.

      Note: we have implemented not only Abort and Reset, but Restart as well.

    Description

      This feature is linked to SP-754, and allows for the implementation of the OET part of abort.

       

      Provide a way for the OET to stop a script, and to propagate that to tell the system to abort current operations.
