    Description

The frontend does not produce logs compliant to the SKA standards. See https://jira.skatelescope.org/browse/AT2-408. The consequence is that some kind of intermittent bugs are quite difficult to identify and diagnose, with a lot of time and effort being required by Webjive developers. So far, this kind of bug has only hit MaxIV.

For this feature we might focus on what is helpful for WebJive development rather than a full-fledged solution compliant to the SKA standard. It should be ok just to develop a mechanism by which the JavaScript code running in the frontend (inside the user’s browser) would make REST calls to some other service that would persist those messages. Once that mechanism exists, it can later be made compliant to SKA logging standards.

This feature should not grow in scope, and instead be timeboxed to 1 sprint.
