    Description

      This exploration enabler will test the scientific performance of the YANDASoft constrained calibration solver. The robustness of the Laplacian smoothing constraints described in YAN-189 to spectral ripple will be demonstrated using MWA data with ripples arising from cable reflections, and possible options for dealing with high-frequency oscillations will be identified.

      The following figure is taken from Li et al. ("First Season MWA Phase II EoR Power Spectrum Results at Redshift 7"), ApJ (2019) 887 141, and shows spectral ripple in MWA auto-correlation spectra arising from cable reflections.
