      At the moment the Elasticsearch Fluentd Kibana solution of the MVP ingests logs from applications that are deployed inside the Kubernetes cluster.

      Prototype System Integration will see applications deployed outside of the Kubernetes cluster integrated with those inside, integrated into one prototype. Observability is enabled by being able to visualise logs of all applications that are part of the prototype, which may improve productivity of developers in terms of fault finding.

    Description

      Add a syslog endpoint to ingest logs from applications deployed outside of the Kubernetes cluster.

      Possible considerations that can be explored are:
