A repository of the input data for that provide a good representation of the models needed for SKA1 instrumental simulations is an important step towards adopting FAIR data principles and making running simulations of SKA1 much easier outside of a small number of people who currently have access or know where the relevant data can be found.

Where data is already provided and is continued to be provided bundled with simulation tools, this repository should be considered the source of truth to encourage interoperability between the tools
