      Managing group membership shall be a regular activity for SRCNet operators and authorised users, necessary to keep data permissions up to date and ultimately provide users with access to their containers and data.

      Doing so via the SRCNet UI shall avoid unnecessarily exposing the GMS API, and will also improve the SRCNet experience for operators and users alike.

    Description

      By decoupling (hopefully well-understood) user operations from the GMS implementation itself, the science gateway can be developed by making dummy API calls.

      That being said, this work cannot be finished until SP-4417 has been resolved. The interface may change significantly and/or group management moved into another service.
