      The SDP Processing Block device(s) provide a mechanism for monitoring (and limited control?) of processing workflows on the SDP. Creating an initial prototype of a Processing Block device (with device server) is a first but important step in prototyping this interface between SDP and TM.

    Description

      Define interface for, and create initial version of the Tango SDP Processing Block device(s) and device server. This should provide an interface to TM for monitoring and limited control of SDP Processing Blocks, the abstraction associated with executing workflows on the SDP.

      Consider and test interaction of Processing Block devices with SDP Subarray devices, developing additional functions on the SDP Subarray device prototype as necessary.
