      Developer Portal do not have any JS related information such as codestyle, landing page, example projects, getting started, standards, best practices etc. even though there are multiple teams that are focused on web development and many other teams asking similar questions to System Team on where to start, so creating a section for JS development should help newcomers and should set the standards and guidelines like the other languages we have.

        • Standards
        • getting started with JS development in SKA
        • Codestyle
        • Examples and where to get help
      • All the sections should follow new structure of Developer Portal (explanation, how-to, tutorial, reference)
      • In the end, a new developer should be able to get enough information to get started writing a web application for SKA
      • A senior developer should be able to point to relevant standards and references for JS development
      • At least 2 teams external to the team who write the documentation have reviewed the content.

    Description

      This should be a timeboxed event so that a developer with a week assigned can finish all of it as this is purely focusing on documentation writing.

      System Team can help with the structure for the Dev Portal but the pages themselves have to be written by people doing the JS development already and have these information scattered around in their Confluence and Gitlab Pages.
