      By deploying and testing ESAP on Azimuth we help to push forward ESAP developments in Tangerine while also starting the work needed to integrate ESAP with the Azimuth platform (essential if Azimuth is a viable platform option).

    Description

      The UK is running a set of real-world demonstrator cases based on pathfinder/precursor/simulated data. Some examples, such as some of the EoR work we are doing, can in principle test the notebook functionality of ESAP. We have successfully run these tests through the Azimuth compute platform.

      Here we'd like to do an end-to-end test where ESAP is used to connect to compute resources on Azimuth and (part of) the EoR workflow is run in that way.

      This requires:

      • Deployment of an SRC ESAP instance on UK hardware
      • ESAP can talk to Azimuth to request simple resources
      • Suitably packaged workflow
