      AC1: A stokes image cube is obtained and added to an SRCnet site.

      AC2: A Rotation Measure Synthesis code is run on the stokes image cube, producing RM cubes. The Faraday spectrum is made and the peak Faraday depth is estimated for some sources. 

      AC3: The pipeline is added to the SRC-workloads repo and demoed.

    Description

      One of the notional key science projects of SKA1 is an all-sky spectro-polarimetric survery for cosmic magnetism. RM synthesis unveils the peak Faraday depth from processing stokes image cubes into RM-cubes, where sources can be identified and their RM calculated. 

      Since the POSSUM pipeline is not yet public, this feature aims to only do RM synthesis on related telescopes (LOFAR, ASKAP) using public pipelines and data.
