By distilling the investigations and PoCs relating to software distribution into a select number of recommendations, we hope to provide input for the best approach(es) for software distribution in SRCnet v0.1.
In addition, this would summarize the work thus far.

    Description

In PI-19 and PI-20, we created an overview document exploring different options for software distribution (https://confluence.skatelescope.org/display/SRCSC/OLI+61-63+Software+Distribution+Technologies). Based on a number of PoCs we have conducted and continued research, we can distill this overview in more specific recommendations for software distribution in the SRCNet. This will wrap up our initial investigation of software distribution.
