SDP developers have tested the performance of the real-time pipelines at AA0.5 scale. Over the next few PIs we must start scaling them up towards AA2. The first step in this process is to test the performance of visibility receive for AA1.

Visibility receive pipeline has been tested at AA1 scale for Low (18 stations) and Mid (8 dishes).

We have recorded the performance of the pipelines and flagged up any issues that may arise for AA1.

Stretch: make an extrapolation of the resources needed to run the pipeline at AA2 bearing in mind that it will be running on multiple nodes.
