      At AA0.5 the commissioning scientists expect to be able to perform certain basic operations on visibility data received from the CBF before writing it to a measurement set or possibly using it in downstream processing.

      1. The real-time pre-processing pipeline is able to perform the following (HiPPO; 3 FP; end of sprint 3)
        • Application of a static RFI mask
        • Spectral averaging
      2. The real-time pre-processing pipeline is integrated with visibility receive and the measurement set writer (HiPPO; 1 FP)
      3. The real-time pre-processing pipeline is integrated with real-time gain calibration pipeline (Yanda; 1 FP)

    Description

      The required functionality is contained in the real-time pre-processing pipeline. It must be able to apply the static RFI frequency mask (given as input to the pipeline), and be able to average the data in frequency or time after applying the mask.
