    Description

      In PI5 NCRA team will do this as a Spike, timeboxed to about 15 Story Points based on available capacity 

      This ticket has been descoped to make it easier to deliver in a short PI (refer to history attached to get background info)

      The current scope is as follows:

      1. Study suggested failure mode handling as documented in https://confluence.skatelescope.org/display/SE/Failure+Modes
      2. Update and recommend changes to the suggested failure mode handling by creating a new version of this and discuss with Architects (a.bridger)
      3. Test the agreed failure handling by implementing it on a subset of MVP components (Subarray Node)
      4. Test the implementation of updates on Subarray Node by executing a subset of scenarios related to SubArray Node implementation as listed here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fFN9Td13AvCUk-mjr6698dekBuy1QOxYBZZoQwFdVRM/edit#gid=0
