      KR3: Mid.CBF generates visibilities when using delay models compliant with ADR-88 format (4 receptors, 1 FSP) (Demo 5) Release REL-1268 – PARTIALLY ACHIEVED – Core bugs impacting ability to generate visibilities (CIP-2046) and baseline ordering (CIP-2368) addressed during PI22. Not demonstrated or release created yet because of additional bugs: CIP-2512.

    Description

      In scope for PI22:

      • Enhancing the TMC Emulator to be able to handle multiple delay models.
      • Updating BITE to be able to apply delays to the simulated data.
      • Updating MCS (CBF SW) to be able to support receiving delay models compliant with the ADR-88 format. Firmware does not require any updates.

      Not in scope for PI22:

      • Checks and alarms/error messages for config_id.
      • Alarm for invalid delay model (but schema validation via the telescope model will still fail).
      • All CBF behaviour associated with missing or late delay models.

      To summarize, CBF will support delay models in the ADR-88 format by the end of PI22, but without full functionality.
