MCCS integrates any existing TPM self checks and provides an ability to trigger it from dashboard and if needed during start up. Adequate documentation on the tests and any configuration and set up needed.

    Description

Development of TPM self check procedure in MCCS (Migration of AAVS-System hardware test suite to a TPM/SPS Engineering mode in MCCS)

This is necessary to support field commissioning of the SPS system in the RPF racks and also support the work done in the Low System ITF. This is not a single PI of work. Maybe we set up the infrastructure and then move the tests to MCCS one at a time but the most important tests can be initiated in PI22.

This is essentially the core of an initial SPS Short Functional Test, and should support Station deployment team work on this.

Note this is distinct work from SP-4045, which relates to the test pipeline for the firmware.

("In my opinion" who?) this should ideally be a joint exercise between Firmware & Software developers in MCCS, with the firmware team writing step by step test process, software team implementing the tests and firmware team validating the tests on hardware in Oxford/RAL.
