We have worked with the TMC teams to resolve any issues they have encountered during the TMC-SDP pairwise testing. We reviewed Confluence pages and Merge Requests in the process (links of these are listed on the relevant ORCA tickets: ORC-1860, ORC-1903).

As a result, we summarised all of the problems and their resolutions on this Confluence page: https://confluence.skatelescope.org/display/SE/TMC-SDP+discrepancies (link to the Sahyadri team's version, which was copied from (and hence matches) ours)

In addition, the following test plans were created by the Himalaya and Sahyadri teams:

      • For Mid: XTP-29381
      • For Low: XTP-29227

    Description

Support the development of the TMC-SDP integration tests as part of Com-C2 (SS-116).

      Who? (Beneficiaries)

      • TMC and SDP developers.

      Why? (Benefit hypothesis)

      • Enables testing of the TMC-SDP interface, which is the principal means by which the SDP is controlled and monitored, in advance of full system integration.

      What? (Acceptance criteria)

      • TMC teams have received advice and support to develop integration tests between the TMC and the SDP.
      • We have clarified the degree to which the SDP needs to implement the de facto interface standards represented by the Tango base classes.
