Can we move forward with a selection of either CADC "Storage Inventory" (https://github.com/opencadc/storage-inventory) or CERN/WLCG "Rucio" (https://github.com/rucio) as a viable tool for ingesting and distributing data products around the SRC sites, giving access to authorised users and supporting the range of user stories already identified for a Distributed Data Management (DDM) service?
Of the two technologies currently demonstrated within the SRCNet ecosystem, what does a technical assessment pf the strengths or gaps of each suggest as the best path forward for SRCNet0.1? Do we have a single option that we can confidently carry forward into SRCNet0.1 implementation?
If yes, then we move forward with the identified component. If no, then we assess the work needed to gain confidence.
