The SRC workloads Gitlab repository aims to create a collection of runnable tasks that we can use to test the functionality of SRCs, both in terms of data management and compute capabilities.

As we expand the tasks available in the SRC workflows Gitlab repo, we look to address all areas of astronomy. So far they are all image-based and there are no time-domain tasks in the repo that deal with, e.g. Pulsar data. Having examples that use different data types will be extremely important for testing SRC functionality.

Description

This task will fill a gap in the time-domain field of astrophysics. This could be related to pulsars, transients, or signal detection with SETI.

This could be a CNN classifier of pulsar timing plots, or SETI narrow line signal detection, or something else commonly used in time-domain signal analysis.
