Advance the MID PSI with TMC, SDP, and SPFRx integration

      • TMC,SDP, and SPFRx integration in the MID PSI will facilitate early integration and enable discoveries of issues before integration in the MID ITF.
      • This will overall enable a smooth transition between subsystem delivery and integration.

      • End-to-end chain is successfully completed for visibility generation on HW when commanded by the TMC down to CSP LMC and and MID CBF using Taranta dashboards
      • Test the latest versions of MID CBF deliverables with the latest versions of SDP and ensure that visibilities are:
        • Capture and written to local disk
        • Timestamps can be loaded and deemed valid
      • The SDP receiver can be started in an automated way as part of the MDI repository test suite
      • Use the existing design to start up the RXPU device servers and connect them to the dish LMC
      • Execute a scan through the MID CBF using a noise source (TBD)

    Description

      • Start a namespace with TMC in the loop
        • Including CSP LMC and removing the TMC simulation
      • Setting up a taranta dashboard to command TMC in the MID PSI
        • Investigate if one already exists and if so import it into PSI
        • If not, then create a simple dashboard to connect to the TMC subarrays to execute subarray commands
      • Test signal chain commands using Taranta with CBF in simulation mode (no hardware)
      • Test signal chain commands using Taranta with CBF in non-simulation mode (hardware in the loop)
      • Better understanding of the TMC by the MAPLE team to enable automated test developmentĀ
