      • ska-oso-pht-ui repository is created using the React skeleton, and the related deployment is accessible through a persistent URL
      • ska-oso-pht-services repository is created and the REST API is accessible at a persistent URL (via e.g. a Swagger UI, or similar UI)
      • First version of a Proposal data model is agreed with stakeholders and included in the PDM
      • Proposals are included in the ODA and can be created/updated through its interface
      • ska-oso-pht-services offers an API to save a whole Proposal data model with some basic validation.
      • Within ska-oso-pht-ui, a prototype PPT is created which can be use used to demonstrate the use of the PPT for the fields covered in the Description section. Upon submit, this is send to the ska-oso-pht-services API
      • User and Developer documentation is provided alongside the prototype.
      • The UI meets the guidelines of the SKAO Accessibility policy.

    Description

      High-level Scope Overview:

      The PI21 OSO Proposal Preparation Tool (PPT) - Prototype will provide a demonstration of a subset of the future capabilities of the PPT. The prototype will allow us to validate design, architectural and workflow assumptions before expanding out the functionality available within the PPT.

      As such the scope of the PPT - Prototype for PI21 will enable a user to:

      1. Navigate to a persistently available URL for the PPT User Interface.

      2. Input the following proposal parameters:

       a. Proposal Title.
       b. Proposal abstract.
       c. Target information: (name, coordinates, velocity), for up to N targets.
       d. Spectral configuration: observing central frequency, bandwidth, (CSP details as a stretch).
      3. Allow a user to validate their inputs, syntactically and semantically.

      4. The proposal content can be viewed upon clicking 'submit' (e.g. via a dialog box or console.log())
