      The User Storage service contains data such as processed and source files, which are used in conjunction with the Science Platform User Sessions. A user's allocation is viewed using the CLI (Command Line Interface) with clients such as cURL thanks to a well-known IVOA REST API. Obtaining files from Storage is done in much the same way.

      File and folder interaction would be simplified with a browser-based navigation tool to descend into folders and get file information, including one-click downloads, file uploads, and folder creation.

      An accessible page hosted at each site that is running an instance of the CANFAR IVOA User Storage that can be bookmarked, that will accept authentication to allow file upload, folder creation, and access rights to restricted data. The Docker image, Helm install, and MSND registry configuration are testable.

    Description

      OpenCADC (CANFAR) has implemented a User Storage UI (https://github.com/canfar/storage-ui.git) that could be deployed alongside the User Storage service (https://github.com/opencadc/vos/tree/master/cavern) to increase its usability and accessibility.

      The application will be ported to use OIDC (IAM) and no new features will be necessary for an initial deployment. It will be delivered to local deployers as a Docker image, added to the User Storage helm install, and will be configurable to use the MSND registry.
