      Linux kernel with ip_subsystem is successfully running on HPS.

      GUI / TANGO Devices / ip_subsystem implemented to support bitstream management and configuration.

      Remote bitstream management and configuration of the FPGA on TALON-DX board is demonstrated using the GUI.

      Linux 5.0 successfully boots in simulated environment (Simics simulator), debugging of libip software is in progress. There is one known issue related to occasional handle corruption - work Iis in progress, story attached to SP-675.
      Stories related to Linux 5.0 on TALON-DX board and remote bitstream management moved to Feature SP-675, work will resume in PI#5.

    Description

      Implement software to provide remote bitstream management and configuration of the Intel Stratix 10 FPGA on the TALON-DX board using facilities provided by Linux running on the embedded processor (HPS).  Tasks include:

      1. Migrate to Linux Kernel 5.0
      2. Test and debug ip_subsystem / libip FPGA configuration software
      3. Implement and test TANGO devices to control FPGA configuration
      4. Implement and test GUI to provide remote FPGA configuration capabilities
      5. Demonstrate remote bitstream management and configuration capabilities.
