      • Fixes a long standing Polyphase FilterBank (PFB) inversion risk
      • Provide higher fidelity data to PST and enables PST to continue with their realtime inversion coding
      • To optimise the PST Filterbank coefficients for inversion performance
      • To generate new data sets for PFB inversion that enable measurement of the inversion performance
      • To reconfirm that the CBF-PST interface is still functional in the LOW PSI
      • Enables LOW CBF to propose other PTCs that could test various PST beamformer requirements
      • To make use of the PST schema in the telmodel https://gitlab.com/ska-telescope/ska-telmodel/-/blob/master/src/ska_telmodel/lowcbf/examples.py?ref_type=heads#L102
      • To provide another capability for CSP LMC to exercise

    Description

      • To update the PST filterbank coefficients so as to enable matching of the LOW CBF Beamformer simulations with PST
      • To update the PST filterbank coefficients in firmware
      • To update the PST beamformer Alveo firmware to match the common code in the correlator Alveo and enable connection to the TPM
      • To update the syncronisation of the PST filterbank input buffers to match correlator filterbank reset
      • LOW CBF to inform CSP LMC how PST beams are created in the beamformer and the operating limits
      • One beam to be formed (or all beams formed in same direction) corresponding to the station beam direction (beam delays to be provided in future PI) - so delay tracking on station beam but fixed (zero) delay tracking on beams
      • To write a new Perentie Test Case (PTC) to test the basic operation of the PST beamformer (packet metadata)
