      • The Digital Signal Processing for Pulsars (DSPSR) software package can load and correctly interpret PST voltage recorder data and weights files.
      • The updated DSPSR software and all of its associated dependencies are published in a docker container that can be used to analyze PST voltage recorder data and weights files.
      • Documentation is published that describes installation and use of the DSPSR Docker container and provides examples of common signal processing tasks that can be used to evaluate data quality.

    Description

The existing digital signal processing package (dspsr) will be modified to be compatible with the *.dada files produced by the PST AA0.5 complex-voltage recorder. It will be made possible to read in the *.dada files and unpack the time-frequency complex-voltage samples and weights written out to disk by the writer of the complex-voltage recorder. In this first iteration of the dspsr modification, we do not plan to support reading in polyphase-filterbank(PFB)-inverted data.
