    Description

As part of this investigation we aim to demonstrate a workable solution that enables:

      • each team to directly deploy into an integration environment from their subsystem integration repository
      • services team to have a consolidated view of how an environment is composed at any time, plus its history
      • integration tests in skampi can be triggered and executed against the integration environment

We anticipate that a number of Gitlab features can be leveraged to achieve this outcome, but we should always bear in mind some important constraints:

      • our final target environment is not the techops cluster, but the ITF, CPF and SPC environments
      • subsystem level integration charts should be used as they are when deploying into the integration environment via helm
