Finalise and start utilising SkySimulator Controller & other TE for controlling and testing it and SUT simultaneously

Regarding the Sky sim we need the following during the next PI

• Clean-up/create dashboards for Tango (Signal Generator, Sky Sim and Spectrum analyser)
• The Temperature sensor inside the Sky sim (with alarm to switch off Noise sources at pre-set temperature)
• The humidity sensor is a nice to have feature, low priority.
• The Tango interface setting the (LAN) step attenuator (built inside the Sky sim, but via external LAN)
• Save recorded data from the spectrum analyser

I have asked Vhuli/Monde to purchase another R PI board with relay board and a new temperature sensor.

Once the new RPi is in the Lab, I suggest to use this new one with easy access to change temperature sensor and check functionality for any development work: this is much easier than disconnecting all Coax cables and changing T sensors inside the Sky sim. Once Tango is properly working, any bug fixes and new temp sensor can be replaced by the old one. (I understand the latest RPI is faster to start up and run code on, so let’s do the upgrade now rather than when the Sky sim is operational)

I have asked the Sky sim to be ‘verified’ with the set-up: SG + Sky Sim (inch Remote Attenuator) + Spectrum analyser for the sITF readiness review. The RR is overdue (e/o May) I propose we spend a little more time on the sITF Test requirements checks) and use the last two weeks of June to perform the verification testing.
