In the current version of ESAP, the data found in Rucio can be added to the shopping basket. The content of the basket is a reference to the data in Rucio. To make the data access from the science analysis platform possible, the functionality will have to be extended to the ability to create rules.
Two specific examples of such rules that could be very useful in SRCNet are staging the data to an http (webdav) accessible storage location for direct download, or to an RSE that is fuse mounted to an interactive session.
